A place to be creative, both on the inside and the outside!
Exhibit
This exhibit will use creativity to reconstitute connection between people in a post pandemic world, by creating a space not only for physical play with one another, which has not been possible for quite some time, but it also creates a space where art and ideas can be exchanged, bought and sold, as well as conversed about. In addition, allowing for local artists and creatives to promote and sell their work will aid in the local economy, post pandemic. The attractiveness of this project is designed to be the individuality of an artistically- striking adult play structure as well as the communal aspect of the “creative market”. These two attributes together create the perfect place for people to network, sell their art, have fun and also unwind. This project brings together many aspects that society has been missing throughout the course of the pandemic, but presents it in a way that is light-hearted and fun, with an emphasis on local human interaction.

About Us
The goal of this project is to bring a variety of people together to let participants express their “inner child” and connect with others through art. The focal point will be a structural art piece that functions as an adult jungle gym and the surrounding area will serve as a space for local vendors and creatives to sell and display their creations.
For this challenge we were asked to “use creativity and Media to Bridge Gaps and Bring People Together in a Pandemic and Post-Pandemic World”. We were asked to complete this project in internationally collaborative groups with students from both X University in Toronto Canada, and UAL in London, England. The specifications of the creation were that it would take place in a shared space, and we would use “media, art, or cultural- activities” to bring a community together in a world that has just been ravaged by a pandemic.
